You have reached the online home of the Wyoming Warriors -- a homeschooled sports program located in the Greater Grand Rapids, MI area. We are a member of the Michigan Homeschool Sports Association (MHSSA).
We are the warriors
Our Mission
The Wyoming Warriors exists to provide homeschooled students an opportunity to play competitive sports in a Christian environment. We believe that sports teach character, physical fitness, and team work in a unique way that is both fun for kids and adults. We strive to apply the principles of the Gospel of Christ to all areas of life, including sports and are always trying to learn how to better apply those principles.
Where we are
The majority of our practices and our home games are at the Home School Building at Burlingame and Gezon Parkway (52nd St.) in Wyoming.
Our History
The Wyoming Warriors began as the Holland Warriors in the early 1990's. In the mid 2000's, in an effort to more clearly represent where we were located, we changed our name to the Wyoming Warriors. The leadership has changed several times through the years, but the mission of serving home-school families through basketball has not changed.
